The following terms and conditions apply to the booking:

1.              The agreement is for the hire of the caravan by the Hirer and his/her party for short term holiday letting and is entered into when the required payment has been received and the funds have cleared and the Owner then makes written confirmation of the booking to the Hirer.

2.              A deposit of 25% of the rental fee is payable immediately to confirm the booking. An additional £100 deposit is also payable at the same time as the balance of the rental fee and is refundable after satisfactory inspection of the caravan at the end of the rental period. This additional deposit will be set against any damage or unusual cleaning costs or other unusual or exceptional expenses incurred as a result of the booking. If there are no such deductions the additional deposit will be returned to the Hirer after the end of the rental period.

3.              The balance of the rental fee will be due for payment not less than six weeks before the holiday commencement date.

4.              If the booking is made within six weeks of the holiday commencement date, the full accommodation rental fee and the additional deposit will be required when booking.

5.              Failure to make full payment at the appropriate time will result in the cancellation of the booking and the 25% deposit will be forfeit.

6.              The Hirer should notify the Owner as soon as possible should the booking for any reason need to be cancelled. For any cancellation by the Hirer before the arrival date the deposit will be forfeit and a whole or partial refund of the balance may be made entirely at the discretion of the Owner. Any cancellation or early termination of the period of hire during the booked period of hire shall not affect the amount payable.

7.              The Owner reserves the right to cancel the rental at any time and will return all monies paid. This right is reserved for exceptional circumstances. The Owner will not be liable to pay any compensation/damages whatsoever for any loss or expenses incurred by the Hirer in the event of this exceptional right being exercised and is unable to offer alternative accommodation.

8.              The Hirer is deemed responsible for the caravan and it is required as a condition of this agreement that all members of the Hirer’s party take reasonable care of it. All members of the Hirer’s party and visitors must obey the Park Rules and Regulations, a copy of which are available in the caravan and at the Park Office.

9.              All equipment and utensils, the caravan and furniture are to be left clean and tidy at the end of the period of hire. All damage / breakages should be reported to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to charge the Hirer for any damage, breakages or extra cleaning or any other unusual or exceptional expenditure which is not be deemed to be normal wear and tear including where such claim exceeds the additional deposit paid.

10.              Visitors other than those listed on the Booking Form must not stay overnight in the caravan without the prior permission of the Owner.

11.           Short breaks of a minimum of 4 nights may be booked between September and December only, outside school holidays. Please contact the Hirer for further information and tariff.

12.           The arrival and departure day is Saturday for weekly lets unless otherwise agreed with the Owner. The caravan will be ready for occupation after 3:00pm, and it should be vacated by 11:00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed. Failure to respect the departure time may result in an extra charge for the time waiting incurred by the cleaners.

13.           Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated on the booking form sleep in the caravan.

14.           The Hirer must be over 21 years.

15.           No single sex groups are allowed.

16.           Gas, water and electricity charges are included in the cost of renting the caravan.

17.           Pillows, duvets and bed linen are provided but not towels.

18.           It is a condition that pets are not allowed in the caravan and any damage caused or cleaning required as a result of unauthorised pets shall be payable by the Hirer.

19.             Any complaints must be made immediately to the Owner who will endeavour to rectify the problem as soon as possible to ensure the continued enjoyment of your holiday. If unresolved the complaint must be confirmed in writing within seven days of the end date of the period of hire by the Hirer.

20.           A minimum charge of £10 is made for the return of lost property after your departure. We accept no responsibility for items reported lost which cannot be found. Property belonging to the Hirer’s party is at all times the responsibility of the Hirer.

21.           It is a condition of this agreement that smoking is not permitted inside the caravan at any time. Any smoking on the deck or otherwise outside the caravan must be exercised with due caution for the risk of fire.

22.           Children will be properly supervised at all times so as not to disturb others, not to cause damage to the caravan and its contents and fittings and for their own safety.
